About us
Independent directory. Patient-first editorial.
Hair Transplant Self helps international patients compare clinics and surgeons without the hard sell — then reach our team when you need listing help, partnerships, or editorial questions.
Compare, don't scroll
Surgeon credentials, technique, pricing signals, and patient-written reviews in one place — filtered by region so you can shortlist before you fly.
Editorial, not pay-to-rank
Paid plans control listing tools and visibility features. Awards and scam warnings are editorial — chosen from patient reports and verified outcomes, not ad spend.
Forum + guides
Long-form guides and an active forum for questions clinics won't answer in a WhatsApp pitch. Real timelines, real donor limits, real recovery.
Why the site exists
The project stalled twice — once during COVID, once when a developer disappeared mid-build. What stayed constant was the goal: give international patients a neutral place to compare hair restoration providers without the sales deck.
Today we maintain clinic and surgeon listings, moderate reviews, publish patient-first guides, and flag patterns we see in questionable operators. We're not a clinic and we don't perform surgery — we help you narrow the field before you commit.
